Around the country, rank-and-file workers are reviving the labor movement to fight back against record levels of inequality and the billionaire takeover of our economy and politics. In the past four years, thousands of members have built strong campaigns to take on their bosses and win record contracts. Thousands more workers across sectors have organized to join the UAW in Region 9A.

Our region reflects the diversity of the UAW membership including autoworkers, higher education workers, marine drafters, legal services advocates, casino dealers, cafeteria workers, government employees, museum and movie theater staff, and much more. We organize across the private and public sectors, and we fight for justice no matter who the boss is.

With Brandon Mancilla as UAW Region 9A Director, our members are seizing this generation’s defining moment. We have gotten back to our roots as a militant and democratic union. And we won’t stop at the workplace. We are building the union into a political force that takes on the billionaires and fights for the future of the working class.
